I was doing a little research today looking for some unique headlines to capture attention and stumbled across an article discussing top Viagra SPAM email subjects which is exactly the type of attention grabbing headline i was looking for! ‘Enlargement’ affiliates listen up, this is gold for your campaigns.
It’s quite common to hear among affiliates and advertisers that you want to GRAB the attention with the headline (or ad) and let the landing page do the selling. Get them in, sell after. Some may argue you want to pre qualify your clicks better, but to each his own and it always depends on your niche and other factors. From my personal experience i like to get people in without a lot of pre qualifying because i can sell people on the idea even if they weren’t planning on becoming a sale.
Viagra affiliates and many other marketers will use headlines that produce fear, envy, or confusion. A mix of fear and confusion can go a long way and that’s what these top 10 headlines are a mix of.

Took me a while to get to this post, but i have to report back on the awesome time at ASW and the superb meetup/party we held with Adsimilis!
My ASW consisted of:
- Meeting lots of new awesome people!
- Being too busy to eat anywhere amazing 
- Carrying a briefcase of $1000 in 1000 separate $1 bills around
- Dragging a big tiger everywhere we went
- Meeting some aff managers for the 1st time
- Became a professional craps player.. thanks to Puya, Affbuzz & Dan

- Having a beer pong tournament that will go down in the history books
- Meeting Polarbacon and Tijn, STM forum legends
- Meeting partners of fancy new projects
- Missed a ton of industry events i planned on going to
- Driving to Big Bear for snowboarding
- Playing an overload of pictionary

ASW 2012 is fast approaching and i hear people like to party in Las Vegas!

Using Facebook pages as landing pages are becoming increasingly popular due to the fact that Facebook reviewers give internal Facebook pages way more credibility than external URLs.
I’ve seen my fair share of pages affiliates use and i have to say there quite half ass. You may think i’m a dumbass and say “you idiot those pages are only for bait and switch/cloaking”, but no that’s not what i’m talking about, i’m talking about actually making Facebook pages your REAL landing page. I’ve seen a few and they are pretty weak in the design department.
(without outing well designed affiliate pages) Here’ are some examples of exactly what you can do with a Facebook page. Get the right designer your design split test may very well turn into a double ROI! Take the exact same aspects you apply to normal landing pages and do the same in Facebook.
Be sure to KEEP IT SIMPLE, Facebook already has enough distractions going on; notifications, photos popping up everywhere, etc… so bring them in with a focal point, have a clear headline, and call to action to lead them to step #2. It may just help your next Facebook campaign get approved a lot easier.
